How the Curated Review Works

1. What is a Curated Review

A Curated Review evaluates a product against the CuratedFit standard, and 11-point framework focused on transparency, sourcing, manufacturing practices, ingredient disclosure, and product integrity.

2. Does a Curated Review determine whether a product is good or bad?

No. A Curated Review evaluates how a product performs against the CuratedFit Standard. A product that does not meet the standard may still be a perfectly valid option for other customers.

3. What happens if a product does not meet the CuratedFit Standard?

The review remains available within the CuratedFit Research Database. Products that do not fully meet the CuratedFit Standard are simply not included in the CuratedFit Selection.

4. Why isn't Product X listed on the CuratedFit website?

Product featured in the CuratedFit Selection must meet two requirements: meet the CuratedFit Standard and be available through a CuratedFit partner relationship. Products that satisfy both requirements may still exist within the CuratedFit Research Database.

5. What is the CuratedFit Selection

The CuratedFit Selection is the collection of products that currently meet the CuratedFit Standard and are available through CuratedFit partner relationships.

6. Can I request a Curated Review of a product that is not listed?

Yes. Any product may be submitted for a Curated Review, regardless of brand, manufacturer, or affiliate status.

7. What do I receive when I request a Curated Review?

You receive a private PDF report containing the full Curated Review, including the evaluation against all applicable CuratedFit criteria and the final assessment outcome, delivered to your email within 48 hours.

8. Will my Curated Review become publicly available?

Your PDF report is delivered privately. The review may later be added to the CuratedFit Research Database at CuratedFit's discretion to support future research and database growth.

9. Do affiliate partnerships influence Curated Review results?

No. Products are evaluated against the same CuratedFit Standard regardless of affiliated relationships. A product must first meet the CuratedFit Standard before it can be considered for inclusion in the CuratedFit Selection.

10. Why do some products pass but not appear in the CuratedFit Selection?

A product may meet the CuratedFit standard but not be available through a CuratedFit partner relationship. In such cases, the review remains within the CuratedFit Research Database.

11. Why should I pay for a Curated Review when free reviews already exist?

Most reviews focus on taste, mixability, personal experience, or marketing claims. CuratedFit focuses on transparency, sourcing, ingredient disclosure, manufacturing practices, and evaluation against a consistent standard.

12. What is the CuratedFit Database?

The CuratedFit Database is the growing archive of completed Curated Reviews, including products within the CuratedFit Selection as well as products that are not currently part of the public selection.

13. Does CuratedFit certify products?

No. CuratedFit is an independent assessment framework. Curated Reviews reflect how products perform against the CuratedFit Standard and are not certifications or regulatory approvals.
